How to Understand Your Claim

When you receive health care services, the charges are submitted to BCBSWY and processed by us according to your benefit plan. This process generates a claim and an Explanation of Benefits (also called an EOB). An EOB is a document designed to help you understand how your claim was processed and how much of the charges are your responsibility. Check out the Explanation of Benefits Guide.
