Upcoming PT/OT/ST Webinar
Join us for an upcoming webinar for PT/OT/ST specialists on Tuesday, October. 22 at noon.
This will explore how BCBSWY constructs our PT/OT/ST benefits and will include discussions of rehabilitation, habilitation, and standard therapy benefits. This will also discuss maintenance exclusions. This is intended to be a high-level overview and not specific to any claims or groups.
BCBSWY Hold Times
As BCBSWY gears up for our busiest season, we are experiencing longer than usual wait times. Availity is an easy tool to self-serve and the following activities can be accomplished using our Availity provider portal:
- Check claim status
- Eligibility and Benefit’s
- Authorizations
- Appeals
- Remittance Advices
- ASC Rates/ASC billing & reimbursement guidelines
- EFT enrollments
- Directory validation
- If a code requires prior authorization
- Corrected claims submissions
Provider Directory Validation Reminder
You can find the Provider Directory Validation guide under the Provider Resources section on the right rail of the website.
Providers can use the Directory Validation tool on the Availity Portal to find NPI and tax ID combinations.
The No Surprises Act (NSA) requires you confirm this information every 90 days.
