Effective July 1, 2025, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming (BCBSWY) will update the process for corrected bill claims.

Corrected Bill Rules – Updated Process

• Submitting a corrected bill claim will void the original claim and apply the necessary changes to a new claim.

• Corrected bills must be submitted with the most recent claim listed as the original claim.

• Claims that have been voided are ineligible for submission as corrected bills. These claims will automatically reject, notifying the provider that the original claim has not yet been processed.

• Host claims without an SCCF will no longer auto reject due to a missing original claim number; instead, these will be processed manually going forward.
