CHEYENNE, WYO –Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming knows our small state thrives when everyone comes together to help others. Teaming up with WyoGives, BCBSWY encouraged our employees to contribute to a cause they’re passionate about with a company match.
We are pleased to announce our employees donated more than $9,700 to 50 organizations across Wyoming. With the BCBSWY match, the total contribution was just over $20,000, with more than $8,500 supporting Wyoming Hunger Initiative.
“We’ve been supporting this annual event since it began in 2020. It’s incredible to be part of something that continues to grow with more non-profits participating and raising a lot of funds to support these important local organizations,” said Diane Gore, president, and CEO of BCBSWY.
As a larger employer in Wyoming, BCBSWY seeks opportunities to connect with our local communities. “We also have many employees who enjoy volunteering in their local community through our BlueCares committee, and we’re always looking for ways we can give back,” said Gore.
