Annual Medicare Advantage Plan Enrollment Period begins Oct. 15

2026 WYOBLUE ADVANTAGE PLANS AVAILABLE FOR SENIORS AGES 65 AND OLDER

CHEYENNE, WYO – If you’re a senior, age 65 or older, WyoBlue Advantage would like to remind you the Medicare Advantage Annual Enrollment Period for 2026 begins Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C, combines Original Medicare—parts A and B—into one easy- to-manage plan along with additional health-enhancing benefits. Plans may also include coverage for prescription drugs, routine vision and eyewear coverage, dental coverage, hearing aids, and clinical support.

Historically, Wyoming seniors have not had many Medicare Advantage options available, and we are pleased to bring a suite of products to the marketplace. In Wyoming, approximately 127,083*residents are enrolled in Medicare, roughly 21%* of the state’s population. Of those, 18%* are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan compared to a national rate of 54%, according to healthinsurance.org, an independent consumer health insurance guide.

“We’re committed to serving the people of Wyoming. We’ve seen growing interest in Medicare Part C and believe seniors deserve high-value plans designed specifically for them by a Wyoming based company dedicated to their well-being,” said Jeremy Martinez, WyoBlue Plan President. “Our plans bring all the benefits of Medicare Advantage, along with local care coordination and services to help them maximize their benefits and support navigating the complexities of finding the best health insurance that fits their needs.”

Among those services is WyoBlue’s partnership with Arkos Health to walk with members on their wellness journey. Arkos Health empowers members to live their healthiest lives through clinical services and programs—all at no cost to the member. These programs help primary care and specialist providers manage patient care by acting as an extension for primary care providers with a focus on preventive care services, support during transitions of care, and through home visits as needed with a licensed nurse practitioner.

“Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming offers seniors a full suite of options from WyoBlue Medicare Advantage plans to BCBSWY Medicare Supplemental and Prescription Drug plans,” said Diane Gore, BCBSWY President & CEO. It’s never been easier to keep the Blue coverage you’ve come to know and trust. Agents across the state can assist, helping seniors find a Blue plan that fits their life.”
