BCBSWY is introducing a new Site of Care program, CarePath, designed to support health care affordability and access across Wyoming. The program connects members with clinically appropriate care in cost-effective settings and is scheduled to launch in August 2026.
BCBSWY remains committed to transparent communication and collaborative engagement with hospitals and provider partners throughout implementation. As part of this effort, hospitals will have opportunities to continue providing services through mutually agreed-upon case arrangements that support affordability while recognizing the vital role local hospitals play in Wyoming communities.
Members will continue to have access to hospital-based care when medically appropriate and aligned with individual clinical needs.
