FEP 2026 Prior Authorization Code Updates
Starting January 1, 2026, members with Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) or Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Standard or Basic Option plans will need to get prior approval or medical review for hip, knee, or spine surgeries in order for benefits to apply
We are still waiting on the official medical policy from FEP, and we’ll share it as it’s available.
