As of July 1, 2025, Wyoming House Bill 82 has officially taken effect, introducing important updates to the credentialing and recredentialing process for health care providers.
This new law is designed to streamline how health carriers credential providers and ensures the process aligns with the standards of nationally recognized accrediting entities. Health carriers may not deviate from the Wyoming Department of Insurance’s new standards.
