WalkingWorks Employee Program
One of the most effective long-term ways to manage the rising cost of healthcare is to encourage your employees to get regular exercise. That is why Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming is joining forces with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association to support WalkingWorks for Employees, a plan to help you motivate your workforce to make brisk-paced walking part of their everyday routine.

Motivate your employees
Everything you do to encourage your employees will make a big difference in the success of WalkingWorks at your workplace. Encourage lunchtime or break time walking groups and offer incentives to employees who stick with the program.
WalkingWorks participants are eligible to take the President’s Challenge and receive a Presidential Active Lifestyle Award. This award is sponsored by the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports to recognize Americans of all ages for committing to a program of regular physical activity, like WalkingWorks. Adults and children can achieve the award together – it’s a great way for families to work together – everyone benefits!
