Registered Nurse, Utilization Review

Location:

Main Office, Cheyenne, Wyoming; or
Field Office, Casper, Wyoming

Work Hours:

  • 40+ per week
  • Office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay Rate:

  • Hourly
  • Fringe benefit package; plus,
    $3,000 hiring bonus following 90 days of successful employment

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted Wyoming license as RN.
  • Proficient telephone skills and excellent communication skills
  • Personal computer skills
  • Associate’s degree in nursing. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing preferred. (Active and unrestricted Wyoming RN license must be maintained in order to perform clinical functions.)
  • Three (3) years prior experience in case management or five (5) years in health related field is required.

Brief Description:

Responsible for utilization review. Must evaluate appropriateness of health care services based upon medical knowledge and patient’s condition utilizing criteria set, apply available benefits, and communicate authorizations/denials to providers. Will perform other duties as assigned.
