Professional Trainee III— Full-time

Location:

  • Main Office, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Work Hours:

  • 40+ per week
  • Office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay Rate:

  • To be determined

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or commensurate experience at an advanced level. Lead work experience preferred in the field of Business, Communications, Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics/Statistics in an office environment.

Minimum of 3-5 years work experience preferably in the field of healthcare and/or work experience in an office environment.  Valid driver’s license required.

Computer Technology:
Personal computer (various levels of exposure to word processing, e-mailing, file formatting, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and/or other computer applications may be expected), calculator, fax machine, photocopier, telephone, and/or scanner.

Brief Description:

Professional Trainees are hired from various professional disciplines and educational backgrounds for the purpose of ensuring a pool of talent whose professional and/or management capability will be further developed. As dictated by the needs of the company, duties of the Professional Trainee III may differ significantly and will focus on the activities of one or more department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains quality initiatives.
  • Expands on current knowledge, skill and ability in order to learn and apply technical requirements essential to completion of departmental job responsibilities
  • Conducts research as requested by department head or as necessary in order to learn about the department, company, providers, customers, and product line
  • Applies newly acquired knowledge and concepts to daily work activities
  • Completes special projects and/or assignments in a timely manner
  • Under limited guidance of department head, actively participates in the daily operation of the assigned department(s)
  • Provide ideas and suggestions for increasing efficiency
  • Functions as team leader or member of various work groups and/or special committees
  • As directed by department head, assists with or leads specified duties associated with daily management of assigned department(s)
  • May be required to make presentations to groups
  • Completes and analyzes reports, spreadsheets and provides relevant communication

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Using tact and diplomacy, may question existing methodology
  • Under authority of senior management, develops and recommends for implementation innovative concepts to improve upon existing processes
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Must perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

  • May lead the work of others.
